Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Becky Akinyode, the stylist and creative consultant, now resides in New York City. A Nigerian-American whose practice is deeply influenced by the many cultures she grew up around, Akinyode spent years in corporate America before pursuing her dream of working in the fashion industry. She approaches her styling assignments with integrity and discipline, creating beautiful imagery that pushes against societal norms. Her work has appeared in various publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, and Dazed magazine. She has collaborated with photographers like Richard Kern, Eliott Jerome Brown Jr., Shaniqwa Jarvis, Zora Schier, Nick Sethi, and Torso Solutions. Her commercial clients include Glossier, Nike, Maybelline, Puma, and Ray-Ban.
